Experience Required: 6 Years Education: LLB/LLM from a leading Indian universityWe're seeking a dynamic legal professional to lead and manage end-to-end litigation and legal recoveries across India. This role demands strategic oversight, hands-on execution, and team leadership in retail legal operations. Key Responsibilities:- Litigation & Recovery- File civil/criminal complaints against customers, dealers, and agencies in consultation with the department head- Attend regular court hearings across jurisdictions- Liaise with advocates and external consultants- Draft and file criminal complaints and FIRs- Manage issuance of DPD, LRN, and Section 138 notices- Documentation & Advisory- Draft, vet, and solidify legal documents including agreements, contracts, NDAs- Provide legal clarifications across departments- Review and sign original legal documents ensuring compliance- Retail Legal Operations- Oversee retail legal business and manage legal deviations across assigned locations- Lead the Legal and Recovery team- Maintain trackers with updated case statuses- Prepare MIS reports across all locations- Property & Compliance- Handle exceptions related to property titles, missing documents, laminated papers, and title checks- Ensure annual monitoring and compliance with RBI and other regulatory frameworks Required Skills & Expertise- Strong command over:- Code of Civil Procedure (CPC)- Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC)- Indian Penal Code (IPC)- Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)- Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS)- Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA)- Companies Act- Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016- SARFAESI Act, 2002- Transfer of Property Act- Consumer Protection Laws- Negotiable Instruments Act, Payments & Settlement Act- Arbitration and Mediation frameworks- Deep understanding of: - Lending, mortgage, real estate, securitization, and charge creation- Legal strategy for loan account recoveries and litigation under applicable laws
