Legal Clerk Responsibilities: • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with the court, ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines. • Correspondence: Draft correspondence such as letters, emails, and notices on behalf of lawyers and clients. • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling client meetings, depositions, court appearances, and other important appointments. • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information, update them on case progress, and explain legal procedures. • Case Management: Help manage legal cases by tracking case status, deadlines, and client information. • Billing Support: Assist in preparing billing records, tracking hours worked on cases, and helping with legal fee management. • Courtroom Assistance: Attend court proceedings to assist lawyers, manage exhibits, and take notes during trials or hearings.
