An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Litigation group in Sydney, supporting a highly regarded partner and a small team of lawyers.

This role will be well suited to an organised and proactive administrative assistant who is capable of prioritising and taking responsibility for day to day tasks supporting their team. Exposure to working in a litigation practice would be advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

File management
Matter opening
Managing calendars and appointments
Billing, time coding and reporting
Assisting with events and business development activities
Assisting with travel and accommodation bookings
Required skills and personal attributes:

Demonstrated administrative support experience within a legal environment
Outstanding organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and commitments
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook and Excel)
Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
