Legal Administrative Assistant – Personal Injury (Vancouver)

Organization Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Personal Injury team in our Downtown office. Duties Responsibilities of Position
Ordering medical reports
Ordering wage loss reports
Contacting clients, ICBC, opposing lawyers, and other assistants regarding files
Preparing client binders and file material
Opening mail and preparing outgoing mail and faxes
Filing and other administrative support tasks
Coordinating and maintaining calendars of our Personal Injury lawyers.

Excellent time-management skills
Adequate discretion to deal with confidential information
A self-starter personality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Required and Ideal Qualifications
Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program
Minimum 1 year experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury department
Proficient in MS Office
Experience with Personal Injury cases in Alberta is an asset
Experience with Elite is an asset
Experience with BC Online and LTSA is an asset
Job Details
Job Type: In person, full-time – 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal and market equity.
