Full job description
The Public Services team are part of the Sports Studies Faculty at the College and are a high performing and experienced team.

Have you got experience of working in the Public Service sector?

Can you teach our students the skills and attributes they need for working in the Public Service sector based on realistic workplace situations and activities?

If so, then working in this role may be perfect for you.

Interviews for this role will be taking place week commencing 18 August 2025.

Your duties

You will:

Teach and train students to quality standards set by the College
Act as a course tutor
Counsel students and maintain discipline
Participate in student recruitment

Person specification

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

Educated to BSc Level or equivalent in a related subject
Hold or willing to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent
Experience of working within the Public Service sector and relevant and up to date knowledge
Ability to motivate students
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
