The Opportunity

The Edinburgh College of Art is recruiting for a full-time Lecturer in Service Design on an open-ended basis.

This position applies the successful candidate's capabilities in design, research, teaching, impact, and knowledge exchange within the School of Design in the Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) and the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI).

Key Responsibilities

Teaching service design to undergraduate and postgraduate levels
Conducting and publishing world-leading design research
Leading interdisciplinary teams and contributing to policy white papers
Fostering Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in the workplace
Requirements

PhD in an appropriate discipline or extensive experience in design practice, service design, policy engagement, or related fields
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrable ability to work independently and collaboratively
