As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be the most senior veterinary clinician within the practice, responsible for leading clinical standards, governance, and the delivery of outstanding patient and client care.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring, endoscopy, laser therapy, and a dedicated nurse’s consulting room, we take great pride in delivering exceptional veterinary care.
Twickenham Veterinary Surgery is situated in the heart of Twickenham, a vibrant suburban town offering charming cafes, restaurants, and beautiful parks. Our practice is located along the scenic River Thames, just 10 miles west of Charing Cross, 2 miles southeast of Hounslow, and 2.6 miles northwest of Kingston upon Thames, with excellent transport links for easy accessibility.

You'll join a team of:


3 x full-time Vets and 2 x part-time Vets
2 full-time RVNs and 2 part-time RVNs
2 VCAS
3 Receptionists
1 Practice Manager
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.

Working Pattern


Monday - Friday
No weekends
No OOH
No bank holidays

You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care. You’ll bring:
A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
