In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes, ensuring that gardens, lawns, and hardscapes look vibrant, healthy, and inviting. Your work will directly contribute to creating beautiful, functional outdoor environments that inspire and delight clients. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in outdoor settings and are eager to apply their landscaping skills to a variety of projects.
Duties
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas pristine and healthy
Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, excavators, and snow plows safely and efficiently
Manage landscape construction projects involving hardscape installation, planting beds, pathways, and other outdoor features
Conduct plant identification to ensure proper care and pest management while adhering to pesticide safety protocols
Maintain irrigation systems for optimal water distribution and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Execute tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth
Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience in outdoor work environments with a strong understanding of landscaping principles
Mechanical knowledge related to operating ground maintenance and landscaping equipment effectively
Hands-on experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and hardscape projects
Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management procedures
Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavators safely
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques
Construction experience or background in grounds maintenance is highly desirable
Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all outdoor activities
Excellent physical stamina for performing manual labor in various weather conditions
