Job Summary
Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Landscape Maintenance Laborer! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of outdoor beautification and upkeep, ensuring vibrant, healthy landscapes that inspire and delight. Your hands-on work will involve maintaining lawns, gardens, trees, and hardscape features, contributing to the overall aesthetic and safety of our outdoor spaces. Responsibilities
Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging and aerating to keep turf healthy and lush
Maintain gardens and planting beds through planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and watering
Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for landscape maintenance projects
Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and small excavators to shape and prepare landscapes
Conduct tree care activities like trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health for safety and aesthetics
Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties
Conduct routine inspections of landscape features for maintenance needs or repairs
Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects to achieve high-quality results efficiently
Qualifications
Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools required for landscape maintenance tasks
Prior experience in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred but not mandatory; training provided for motivated learners
Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care and tree trimming techniques beneficial
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in landscaping and construction
Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks safely
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
