Job Description

We are looking for a full time permanent Laboratory Technician with an industrial food production skill to support our team in the day to day running of the business. The Lab Technician will assist in food sampling, measuring, analysing, and maintaining the lab area clean following our sample processing and aseptic technique procedure in cooperation with the rest of our laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities for the role
• Determining bacterial colonies on plates and producing an accurate count.
• Laboratory analysis on food and water samples by various methods.
• Ensuring the maintenance of equipment and adequate stocks of reagents and consumables in the Lab.
• Maintaining cleanliness and sterility of equipment along with general cleaning duties.
