In this position you will have a unique opportunity to work with patients performing phlebotomy but also in all core disciplines Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine at a regional hospital. In addition to your strong attention to detail and good judgement, you are highly organized and have proven communication skills that enable you to work collaboratively within our fast-paced ever-changing environment. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in urinalysis, chemistry, hematology or transfusion medicine is an asset.
