Basic hand tools (scissors, cutters, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)
• Power tools (glue gun, drill machine, soldering iron, drill press, sanding machines)
• Knowledge of 3D printers and Laser cutting machines
• Materials handling: cardboard, wood, wires, craft materials, recyclable materials
• Safety handling and maintenance of tools and equipment (Soldering Iron, Drill Machine, Heat Gun, Glue Gun, etc)
Supporting simple mechanisms, simple machines, electronics basics, and hydraulics
• Setting up materials before class and organising the workspace
• Supporting students during hands-on tasks without doing the work for them
• Understanding the design cycle (Ask-Imagine-Plan-Create-Improve)
• Helping with inventory, bookkeeping, and tool maintenance
• Ability to assist with prototyping, model-making, and troubleshooting builds
• Knowledge of basic safety protocols for primary-age learners
• Ability to supervise 20–30 students during making sessions
• Basic First-aid training (preferred, though not mandatory)
