Medicine Hat College’s School of Health and Community Services welcomes applications for a recurring sessional Lab Assistant/ Simulation Technologist position for our Brooks Campus. Travel to the Medicine Hat Campus may be required at times. This is a temporary placement, covering a leave of absence.
Details:
As a successful applicant you'll have:
Diploma in Health Care field, computer science, information technology or related field OR equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
More than 2 years’ experience in health care field. Experience with simulation and IT equipment considered an asset.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Willingness and comfort working in a dynamic team-oriented setting and working with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to move simulation and lab equipment.
Terms of Employment
Term of Employment: August 19, 2026 – December 9, 2026
Hours of Work: 20 hours per week on average, Monday to Friday (usually)
Wage Rate: $30.90 per hour (Start Rate); $34.54 per hour (Job Rate)
