Purpose
To provide expert legal guidance and oversee all formal correspondence, ensuring that all departmental communications, contracts, and tender documents are legally sound, strategically phrased, and protective of the company's reputation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Formal Correspondence: Draft, review, and manage all incoming and outgoing departmental letters to ensure professional and legal consistency.
- Contractual Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex terms and conditions within departmental agreements to identify potential legal risks.
- Legal Advisory: Act as the internal consultant for the company on all legal matters, providing actionable advice to leadership.
- Crisis Management: Resolve high-level technical and legal disputes efficiently to prevent litigation and protect the company's public reputation.
- HR Integration: Oversee and draft all legal documentation related to manpower hiring, employment contracts, and labor law compliance.
- Tender Support: Provide technical legal knowledge during the tendering process, specifically reviewing "Special Terms" and compliance requirements in government or private bids.

- Financial Reduction in legal penalties, fines, or litigation costs.
- Operational Flow Turnaround time for drafting and reviewing departmental letters/contracts.
- Risk - Management Percentage of tenders/contracts successfully vetted without subsequent legal disputes.
- Resources 100% compliance of employment contracts with local labor laws.
- Reputation Successful resolution of "high-technical" disputes without negative media/brand impact.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM). Certifications in Corporate Law or Contract Management are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate law, legal drafting, or a similar role within the industry.
- Proven experience in Tender Law and technical contract negotiations.
