Kumon is the fastest growing Learning Center in the WORLD! We help children improve their math and reading skills and become independent learners. We provide full training, competitive pay, and a great working environment. If you have inclination towards teaching or a student looking to build their skill set for college and beyond, this is a great way to get started.
Tasks:
Help guide students through their assignments using the Kumon method and instructional strategies
Grade math and reading assignments
Provide feedback to instructor on student performance
Data Entry
Record grades
Assist students with check-in/check-out
Handle incoming parent inquiries (walk-ins, phone calls), including but not limited to: sharing about the Kumon Method, signing parents up for an orientation, making reminder phone calls
Qualifications and Skills:
Proficiency in math and writing.
Must be punctual, responsible and mature, and have a positive and respectful attitude toward students, parents and other center staff.
Ability to multi-task and follow directions.
Enjoy working with kids and comfortable working with children ages 3 and up.
Prior Kumon knowledge is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided.
Can work Mondays and Thursdays from 3 pm to 7:30 pm.
Background checks will be performed on applicants 18 & over.
* This is a long-term position.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
