Wintec invites dynamic and experienced registered nurses (RN) to join our Te Kura o te Oranga (Centre for Health & Social Practice) team in the heart of Waikato. As a leading institution committed to delivering quality education, we are excited to be able to offer a 1.0 position within our nursing education team. The position is suitable for a RN that is looking to enter the education sector. In your role you will:
facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for nursing students.
instruct and mentor students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
stay current with industry trends and best practices.
The appointing salary for this 1.0 FTE role will be between $87,200 - $96,800 (pro rata) dependent on skills and experience.

We are looking for people that:
have an understanding of nursing in acute care environments
have an understanding of Te Ao Māori.
have a current annual practicing certificate.
belong to a relevant professional body.
have five or more years of experience in the nursing profession in New Zealand.
possess a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.
We are looking for someone with broad understanding of nursing in a variety of settings but an acute care focus will be an advantage. Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies is a plus. For more information, please view the Position Description below.
