Job Description
1:1 Maths Tutor
KS2 & KS3
In Focus Tutoring is looking for a confident, reliable and engaging Maths Tutor to join our growing team.
We provide high-quality, specialist one-to-one tutoring. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students build both confidence and academic progress.
The Role:
Deliver engaging 1-to-1 tuition
Sessions delivered in person (Leamington Spa)
Provide lesson feedback to parents after each session
Prepare for all lessons
Requirements:
Strong, proven subject knowledge
Confident delivering the curriculum
Strong knowledge of exam requirements and mark schemes
A friendly, calm teaching manner
Reliability and professionalism
Experience in working with neurodivergent students
Familiarity with local schools
Work well independently
Minimum 2 years experience of teaching OR tutoring
Teaching qualification OR a degree in your teaching subjects
Excellent spoken English
Enhanced DBS certificate (must be on the Update Service or willing to obtain)
Self-employed status (or willingness to operate as self-employed)

Hours:
Between 6 and 15 hours per week
MUST be able to work at least 3 evenings (to approx. 7:45pm). Ideally one weekend morning in addition.
Pay:
£37.00 per session.
