Role Description The Kindergarten Teacher will work full time on-site at Cambridge Juniors KR Puram in Bengaluru, guiding young learners through their early years of schooling. Responsibilities include designing and implementing daily lesson plans that support literacy, numeracy, and holistic development, aligned with the preschools curriculum and philosophy. The role involves creating a warm, structured classroom environment, facilitating individual and group activities, and using play-based learning to build foundational skills. The teacher will observe and document student progress, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with colleagues to plan events, assessments, and enrichment activities. Additional duties include maintaining classroom materials, ensuring student safety and well-being, and participating in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in early childhood or kindergarten settings.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation tailored to young learners.
• Effective Communication skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues.
• Experience in Training or mentoring, or willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
• Ability to create an inclusive, child-centered classroom that supports diverse learning needs.
• Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills appropriate for kindergarten-age children.
• Basic proficiency with simple digital tools for planning, communication, and record-keeping is an advantage.
