Job Description
Role & Responsibility – Class Market (DD) – Key Account Executive
Role Summary
The Key Account Executive will manage direct dealer accounts and outlets with a potential of > 400 kg, focusing on customized efforts and bulk
packs (PVA/Bulk). The role involves covering 50 unique outlets in a month (approx. 2–3 per working day) with dedicated attention, building deep
relationships and driving volume through strategic dealer partnership
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a portfolio of 50 direct dealer-outlets each month (with > 400 kg potential).
Plan and execute customized trade efforts, tailored for dealer/wholesale channel and bulk pack focus.
Drive penetration and growth of PVA (bulk) SKUs and larger pack sizes in the direct dealer network.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers (decision makers), ensure optimal listing, preferred placement, and stock commitment.
Develop outlet/ dealer-specific strategies: bulk ordering, margin structure, promotional schemes, incentives for dealers to buy and sell bulk packs.
Cover ~50 outlets per month: ensure frequent, quality visits, monitoring of performance, addressing stock-outs, competition, pricing & displays.
Monitor business performance of each outlet/dealer: volume, growth, bulk pack mix, and execute corrective actions where needed.
Collaborate with internal teams (trade marketing, supply chain, logistics) to ensure availability, delivery, pricing compliance, and promotional support for bulk packs.
Provide weekly/monthly reports on outlet/dealer performance, customized action plans, and trend insights from bulk segment.
Identify new dealer opportunities within territory, convert them into active accounts, and grow bulk volume share in the segment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing or related field).
Proven experience (2-4 years) in field sales, ideally in Building Material - Adhesives, Laminates, Ply Wood, Hardware or related industries.
