You are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual for the role of Assistant Fashion Designer with a merchandising background and 2-4 years of experience at an emerging sustainable fashion brand based in Mumbai. You should possess excellent communication skills, be willing to learn current skills, have your original fashion aesthetic, be adept at out-of-the-box thinking, and possess the ability to establish an efficacious relationship with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing design concepts and sketches in line with the brand aesthetics and the inspiration for the collection.
- Creating a storyboard, mood board, color palette, and developing CADs.
- Selecting fabrics, trims, and embellishments for garments.
- Researching fashion trends, fabrics, and colors.
- Communicating with vendors and manufacturers to source materials.
