Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a significant player in the UK biogas sector to recruit a Junior Project Engineer who will support a pipeline of innovative projects across the country. As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception to handover, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with site operations, health and safety teams, and external contractors to ensure a seamless project execution. You’ll coordinate internal resources and vendors while continuously driving improvement in project delivery. Monitoring build progress and reporting to clients and stakeholders will be key components of your responsibilities, alongside managing risks to prevent delays or potential reputational issues. With travel to various sites required, flexibility is essential. To be considered for this role, candidates should have a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or relevant industrial experience. Ideally, you'll be working towards Chartership, with NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications being desirable. Candidates should have 2-3 years of proven experience successfully delivering projects in line with specified timescales and budgets. A full UK driving license is essential.
