Job Description
The legal advisor is accountable for taking the day to day legal responsibilities and providing legal advice that includes all the aspects of the analysis, investigation and drafting process. He/she is responsible for providing support in discrete legal issues by advising the organization, drafting undertakings and structuring remedies for the relevant issues. This professional may also be engaged in helping to analyze and collect evidence and schedule staff hearings. To better understand the role of this professional, let us view some of the responsibilities that need to be handled by him/her:
• To conduct legal analysis and research on various legal matters of the client or the organization
• To provide advice on different legal issues and assist in drafting legal opinions, memoranda and other briefing documents
• To be actively involved in preparing and drafting of different acts and legal submissions and draft the authoritative legal opinions as well
• To conduct legal research by utilizing various resources and selecting the relevant material to analyze the legal information
• To assist in reviewing the legal material and any other relevant documents and to identify the most important issues that need to be sorted out on a priority basis
• To draw up formalities regarding the settlement of disputes and monitor the implementation of the legal clauses
Qualifications
Educational Background
If you are planning to apply for the post of a legal advisor, then you should complete at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in law or any other relevant field. The individual who has a master's degree will definitely be preferred by the employers.
Essential Skills and Abilities
To ensure success in this field as a legal advisor, you should possess excellent analytical, researching and drafting skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to take good decisions based on judgment are absolutely essential. He/she should be able to function without anybody's supervision and should be able to deal appropriately with the confidential information. He/she should be an excellent team player with the ability to prioritize work, especially when some deadlines need to be met. He/she should be keep himself/herself updated with all the legal laws and should be able to apply them in the given situation.

Role Overview :
The Junior Associates will be assigned to eDiscovery document review projects. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting electronic documents to determine if they are privileged, responsive, or relevant to a legal matter with utmost care of quality.
This is 6-month contract employment with a possible performance-based extension to a permanent role.
Role Description :
• Performing first-line review for relevancy and privilege on document review projects for high-profile clients and complex cases
• Ensure jobs are completed according to the client and industry standards, and that job specifications and deadlines are met
• Identify Key documents, log them in review tool and communicate that to the Team Lead
• Focus on accuracy and first-time right approach to avoid any rework.
• Perform other special tasks or duties when required
Required Skills :
• Knowledge of MS Excel
• Available to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player and helps in creating positive team environment.
• Attention to detail and good analytic skills
• Ability to grasp complex subject matters
• Good oral and written communication
• Familiarity with eDiscovery and Document Review Projects will be an advantage
Required Experience and Qualifications :
• Bachelors of Law (LL.B)
• 0-1 year of eDiscovery experience (Freshers are welcome to apply)
• Ability to work in an onsite setting in Noida
