Job Description
MAGS by Sananda Basak is a premium sustainable fashion label based in Pune, creating contemporary women’s wear using eco-conscious fabrics and original design thinking.
We are looking for a Junior Fashion Designer who understands that fashion goes beyond sketching, and includes pattern making, garment construction, understanding fabrics, production work, and hands-on craftsmanship, including jewellery making.

• This is a hands-on design role involving pattern, construction, and production—not just conceptual or sketch-based work.
• Do not apply if your experience is limited to styling, consultation, illustration, or retail roles.
• This is not an assistant or coordination role. This position requires active involvement in design, garment execution and jewellery making.
• Candidates without practical exposure to garment construction will be considered only at a trainee level, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
Role Overview
You will work closely with the Principal Designer, Sananda Basak, assisting in the design and development of collections, while actively participating in the execution and production process.
This role is ideal for individuals who want to build real expertise in garment creation, working across both creative and technical aspects of fashion.
