Knowledge & Skills
• Study the specifications in detail, prepare 2D/3D sketches of Tools, Fixture & Gauges
• Plan and execute manufacturing process in consultation with machine operators
• Preparing and getting approvals for drawings inspection reports & design validation sheets
• Updating Activity tracker Request Tracker, NDA Tracker, Supplier file Tracker, Touch Base of all other applicable department trackers and check sheets.
• Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review.
• Establish cost estimates of production processes and tooling costs and review alternatives or put forward recommendations for improvement
• Assess cost effectiveness of Tools, Gauges & Fixtures and track actual costs relative to budget and report status on a regular basis to ensure costs are in line with forecasts
• Preparation of Tooling Budget, CIP and mistake proof story
• Adopt a flexible approach to workload and assume now responsibilities where appropriate.
• Maintenance of quality System in applicable area, including closure of Non-conformance within agreed dates.
• Maintain all QMS & IMS Documents of department (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 & AS9100)
• Identify Critical TGF & list the risk Mitigation plan to make sure minimal down time
• Sending enquiry and Ensure supplier quotations meet should cost estimates and Negotiate prices with 13 suppliers.
• Preparing of Purchase Indent, approval getting till PO release follow-up
• Identify resource constraints and escalate any Technical or administrative road blocks to the TL/HOD.
• Participate in Department Sunrise Meeting & Communicate regularly with all Team members both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication conceding Tooling issues
• Material code creation request & maintain Document management system(DMS)
• Clearing Tooling GRN & Tooling bill statement sheet
• Ensure safety in Tool room & safe work practices
• Identify Continuous Improvement projects in the Department & facilitate to complete on time
• Supplier followup and Ensure on time completion of material in warding, Incoming Inspection for the thots & fixtures
• Uploading of supplier Docs, like NDA, SRF, OS Certificates in Portal & DMS
• Review and ensure all the Tooling activities are completed on before releasing of Bill of Tools.
• Work towards achieving the Company Goals & Adhere to Company/ HR policies & Ethics
• Proactively contributes to the team and actively committed to teams development
• Take ownership of projects, plan milestones, timelines, budgets, resources and identify potential risks to deliver engineering aspects within agreed completion dates
• Be proactive regarding task completion and periodically advise wider team on project status, timing, resources, issues, and ability to deliver on-time with excellence
