Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Junior Backend Developer with knowledge of Node.js to support backend development, API integration, and system maintenance for ongoing products and client projects.
The ideal candidate should have a strong learning mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development Support
Assist in backend development using Node.js and Express.js
Support API development and third-party integrations
Work on database management and backend logic implementation
System Maintenance & Debugging
Debug and troubleshoot backend-related issues
Maintain and improve existing backend systems
Ensure clean and maintainable code practices
Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with senior developers and project teams
Participate in development discussions and execution planning
Support project delivery timelines and operational requirements
Eligibility Criteria
1–3 years of experience in backend development
Basic understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and databases
Familiarity with MongoDB/MySQL and REST APIs
Understanding of Git workflows and version control systems
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of cloud platforms or deployment processes
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Understanding of scalable backend practices is an added advantage
