Job Description
Junior Azure Integration Developer
Location: Ponsonby, Auckland
Full-time Permanent Hybrid
About the role:
We are looking for a Junior Azure Integration Developer to join our growing team to support the delivery of cloud-based integrations using Microsoft Azure. This role will focus on building and maintaining integrations based on established patterns, working under the guidance of senior integration specialists.
This role is Azure-first, with exposure to Dynamics 365 and other third-party platforms as part of a broader integration landscape.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, REST APIs and webhooks
Implement integrations between Azure and Dynamics 365 (under guidance) and Third-party SaaS platforms
Follow established integration patterns, security standards, and coding practices
Ensure testing processes and practices are followed such as unit testing
Assist with testing, deployment, and documentation of integrations
Troubleshoot integration issues and support defect resolution
Collaborate with developers and architects and delivery managers on solution delivery
Qualifications
About You:
You’re an early-career developer with a growing foundation in cloud-based integration and a keen interest in Microsoft Azure technologies. You enjoy working with APIs and structured patterns, and you’re motivated to develop high-quality, reliable integrations while learning from senior specialists in a real-world environment.
Key requirements:
1–2 years experience in software development or integration
A relevant tertiary qualification
Hands-on experience with Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, or similar)
Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and authentication concepts
Basic knowledge of source control (e.g. Git), integration environments, integration design patterns, test practices
