Job description
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for obtaining accounting data from clients. This involves recording necessary entries in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.
• We are looking for someone with a proven experience as an Accountant or similar role who is proficient in using accounting software and has a sound knowledge of GST, income tax, professional tax, and other relevant regulations.
• The ideal candidate should also have familiarity with accounts finalization and compliance procedures, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain accounting data from clients.
• Record necessary entries in accounting software.
• Resolve queries and address any issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare MIS and QIS reports as required by clients.
• Prepare workings related to Goods and Services Tax (GST), income tax, and professional tax.
• Gain exposure to accounts finalization and ensure compliance with income tax, GST, professional tax, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Registrar of Companies (ROC), and other applicable regulations.
• Acquire experience in conducting and preparing internal and statutory audit reports.
