Job SummaryStartup Inno is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are eager to start their accounting career with hands-on experience in Tally Prime and GST compliance. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the finance department in maintaining statutory compliance. This role provides exposure to practical accounting functions, making it an ideal starting point for a long-term career in finance and accounting.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using Tally Prime.
Record day-to-day financial transactions including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of GST returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements and reports.
Maintain records of expenses, bills, and other financial documents.
Ensure all accounting processes adhere to statutory and organizational policies.
Support internal audits and provide documentation as required.
Required Skills and QualificationsBachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Familiarity with Tally Prime accounting software.
Basic understanding of GST regulations and compliance procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
ExperienceFresher candidates are encouraged to apply.
Internship or practical exposure in accounting or finance will be an advantage.
Working HoursStandard Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Flexibility may be required during financial year-end or tax filing periods.
