Senior Business Analyst – D365 F&O Finance Functional
Experience: 3.5–4+ Years
Location: Ahmedabad or Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst – D365 F&O Finance Functional with 3.5–4+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, analyzing finance processes, conducting client workshops, configuring D365 F&O Finance modules, preparing functional documentation, and supporting implementation, testing, and production activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct business process and Fit-Gap analysis and recommend appropriate D365 F&O solutions.
• Work on D365 F&O Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Taxation, Project management, Inventory and Costing.
• Configure and set up D365 F&O Finance modules based on business requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, FDD, Functional Specifications, User Manuals, and other functional documents.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams for development, integration, and issue resolution.
• Prepare and execute SIT/UAT test cases and support defect resolution.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and go-live activities.
• Handle change requests and provide functional impact analysis.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live functional support.
• Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3.5–4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O Finance Functional.
• Strong knowledge of D365 F&O Finance modules and accounting processes.
• Experience in requirement gathering, Fit-Gap analysis, configuration, and functional documentation.
• Experience in SIT, UAT, implementation, and production support.
• Good understanding of integration with other D365 F&O modules.
• Experience working directly with clients and conducting requirement workshops.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of India GST/localization will be an added advantage.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification will be an advantage.
Education
• CA, CA Inter or Master’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
