Junior & Senior Accountant
POSITION PURPOSE:
To manage and oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes.
To contribute to the financial health of the organization through timely reporting, compliance, and strategic financial insights.
YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
For Junior Accountant:
Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts for discrepancies.
Prepare and process bills, invoices, and account statements.
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.
Support compliance with tax filings and other statutory obligations.
For Senior Accountant:
Lead and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Oversee tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Handle internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies.
Develop and implement robust financial policies and internal controls.
Monitor cash flow and provide strategic insights for financial decision-making.
Mentor and support the junior accounting team in achieving operational efficiency.
WHO YOU ARE:
For Junior Accountant:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
For Senior Accountant:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
Expertise in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
