Job Brief
We are looking for a passionate and talented ‘Junior SEO Analyst’ to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in improving the online visibility of our clients by optimizing websites and implementing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and enhance search engine rankings.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Junior SEO Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Keyword Research: Perform in-depth keyword research to identify optimization opportunities aligned with client goals.
On-Page SEO: Support optimization of meta tags, headers, internal linking, and URL structures to boost search rankings.
Off-Page SEO: Contribute to improving search engine trust and authority by promoting content through social bookmarking, blog outreach, local listings, and influencer engagement.
Local SEO: Assist in optimizing Google Business Profile (GMB), managing local citations, and improving local rankings for clients in target geographies.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to identify content gaps and suggest enhancements for SEO performance.
Technical SEO: Monitor search performance, identify crawl errors, and ensure indexing through sitemap submissions and technical audits.
Analytics Setup: Assist in setting up goals in analytics platforms and monitor website speed to enhance user experience.
Data Analysis: Analyze website traffic and SEO metrics to generate actionable insights and support strategy refinement.
Reporting: Contribute to preparing periodic SEO reports highlighting performance, progress, and key recommendations.
Link Building & Outreach: Identify high-quality backlink opportunities and support outreach strategies to increase domain authority.
Schema Markup: Help implement structured data for improved visibility in rich search results.
Mobile Optimization: Ensure mobile-friendliness and adherence to best practices in responsive web design.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts and other team members to execute comprehensive SEO strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in SEO.
Familiarity with link-building strategies and digital PR outreach.
Working knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.
Knowledge of Local SEO (Google Business Profile/GMB) is a plus.
Exposure to A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is a plus.
