Journeyperson and Apprentice Carpenters
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform carpentry work safely and efficiently in accordance with company and site requirements
Construct, install, and dismantle concrete formwork for foundations, grade beams, slabs, walls, and other civil structures
Assist with concrete placement, finishing preparation, and site layout activities
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, and other construction materials
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments
Complete required documentation and reporting when necessary
Qualifications & Requirements
Journeyperson Carpenters or Registered Apprentice Carpenters (all levels)
Experience with concrete formwork, framing, renovations, and general carpentry activities considered an asset
Valid CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 required
Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform (AWP), and Confined Space are considered assets
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract preferred
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
