Job Description
## Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable **Carpenter** to construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, furniture, fixtures, and fittings. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, measurements, and finishing techniques, with strong attention to detail and workplace safety.
## Key Responsibilities
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
* Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and measurements.
* Construct and install doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, furniture, partitions, and other wooden structures.
* Perform repair, maintenance, and modification work on existing wooden fixtures.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, sanders, and other carpentry equipment safely.
* Ensure accurate alignment, fitting, leveling, and finishing of all work.
* Select appropriate wood, hardware, adhesives, and other materials.
* Perform sanding, polishing, staining, painting, and other finishing work as required.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other workers to complete projects on schedule.
## Requirements
* ITI/technical qualification in Carpentry or relevant vocational training preferred.
* **1–5 years of relevant carpentry experience** preferred.
* Good knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction techniques.
* Ability to accurately read measurements and basic technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Physical fitness and ability to work for extended periods, including standing, bending, and lifting.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

## Working Conditions
