Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations, delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications. Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with construction plans and schematics
Read blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures for plumbing systems
Work with gas piping systems safely, adhering to all safety regulations and local building codes
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently
Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work while maintaining safety standards
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Follow construction plans accurately and adapt to changes or modifications as needed during project execution
Requirements
Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and building code compliance
Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical principles, and pipe threading techniques
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans effectively
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe fitting techniques
Familiarity with safety regulations related to plumbing work on construction sites and in maintenance environments
Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of heavy lifting, remodeling, assembly, and handyman tasks
Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for field service tasks
Strong mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards
