This role involves performing electrical work at industrial facilities in southeast Calgary within light‑industrial environments. You will install and bend conduit, set up and secure cable trays, pull and terminate wiring, and complete minor electrical instrumentation and controls work to support reliable operation of site systems.
Responsibilities
• Install, bend, and secure electrical conduit in accordance with industrial standards and site specifications.
• Install, assemble, and support cable tray systems to safely route power and control wiring.
• Pull, route, and organize electrical cables and conductors through conduit and cable tray systems.
• Perform minor electrical instrumentation and controls installations, including basic terminations and device hookups.
• Work safely in light‑industrial landfill facilities, following all site safety rules and procedures.
• Use aerial work platforms (AWP) and fall protection equipment correctly when working at heights.
• Read and follow instructions from supervisors and site documentation to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment before use and report any hazards or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members on site to coordinate electrical work with ongoing operations.
• Complete required timecards and basic documentation accurately and on time.

Work Environment
This position is based at industrial facilities located in southeast Calgary within light‑industrial settings. You work Monday through Thursday on a four‑day schedule, with 10‑hour straight‑time shifts and overtime paid after 40 hours per week. The work takes place in active landfill and industrial environments, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE and adherence to site safety rules. You will regularly work with industrial electrical tools and equipment, including conduit benders, cable pulling gear, and aerial work platforms, and you must be comfortable working at heights with fall protection. The environment is hands‑on, field‑based, and may involve exposure to outdoor conditions typical of landfill and industrial operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.80 - $34.40/hr.
