Urban Acres & Home & Building Magazine, published by CREDAI – MCHI, is seeking dynamic, motivated, and results-driven individuals to join our editorial team as Journalists. This opportunity is open to freshers, and experienced candidates who are passionate about storytelling, reporting, and content creation. The position offers working from office and on-field reporting opportunities across in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
Research:
Conduct thorough research on assigned topics and proactively gather news from various sources including interviews, press releases, and online platforms.
Writing:
Draft articles, blogs, features, and news stories in accordance with editorial guidelines. Ensure factual accuracy and uphold journalistic standards.
Editing:
Proofread content to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand style.Attend press conferences, events, and interviews to gather firsthand information and insights.Contribute creative ideas for articles and stories. Transcribe interviews and extract meaningful insights for publication.Work with the multimedia team to enhance stories through visual and digital elements.Assist in brainstorming, planning content calendars, and coordinating with team members for story development. Collaborate with photography, design, and other departments to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field.
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Basic knowledge of multimedia tools is a plus.
Enthusiasm for infrastructure, urban development, and real estate reporting.
