Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate different types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions. MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE 16-26FT BOX TRUCKS. MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXP. WITH COMMERICAL DRIVING. MUST KNOW THE 5 BOROS, NJ. WESTCHESTER AND LONG ISLAND. NO CDL REQUIREMENT.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
Navigate assigned routes efficiently, making timely deliveries to customers.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities, and any discrepancies.
Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required by the job.
Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools for efficient delivery planning.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
Proficient in driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
