Full job description
The Township of Montville is accepting applications for the position of LABORER (Full Time) in the Department of Public Works. This is an entry level position which will require manual labor, snow removal & maintenance, tree work, road maintenance, field and lawn maintenance and buildings/ facilities maintenance. Applicants must have a clean driving record and have the ability to obtain Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within one year of employment with the Township. Trade skills are highly desired. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically able to perform the responsibilities of LABORER and perform manual labor under all weather conditions. Interested candidates should email a cover letter, resume, and at least three (3) job-related references to Nick Marucci, PE/PLS, Director of Public Works at nmarucci@montvillenj.org by June 1, 2026. Township reserves the right to interview candidates as applications are received.
