Document Controller
Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Document Controller with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
• Accurately process and record all technical documentation in accordance with agreed procedures. Ensures agreed procedures satisfy project, client and regulatory requirements.
• Receive, check, accurately record into Document Control System and distribute all project technical drawings and documentation in an efficient and expeditious manner as requested by engineers in accordance with agreed Project and Corporate procedures.
• Monitor progress of in-house and Client reviews of technical data.
• When required, input progress information (received from discipline engineers) accurately at regular intervals as specified by the project.
• Produce reports on documentation and progress as requested.
• Ensure that hard copy and electronic record files as required are maintained in good order to comply with QA requirements.
• Contribute to compilation of final project dossiers, as built portfolios and archiving.
• Establishes a systematic and comprehensive Project Filing System.
• Produce exception reports on late documentation for Project Management review.
• Undertake other tasks as required by the Lead Document Controller / Manager – Document Control
Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 years+ experience in Document Control
• Experience in controlling documents using EDMS.
• Experience in Oil Gas industry preferred.
• Diploma or any Graduate
