Job Description
Role: SAP ABAP & BW Developer
Objective: Developing and managing technical objects for SAP Core Modules FI-CO, SD, MM, PM, PS, HR & IS-Media Modules - MAM, MSD & BW.
Job Responsibilities.
· Understand functional specifications for analysing the business requirement.
· Understanding the business process and related configuration along with Team Lead.
· Supporting functional resource person, for designing solutions.
· Develop and document technical specifications.
· Coordinate with the SAP core team members in delivering changes/new requests.
· Develop detailed plans and estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation.
· Develop and implement program objects - Function modules, Reports - Classical, Interactive, ALV (ABAP List Viewer) report.
· Modifying the Standard Layout sets, developing forms using SAP scripts and smart forms.
· Maintain and update existing program codes as needed.
· Creating & Maintaining the Data migration Programs – BDC, BAPI LSMW.
· Enhancing the standard functionality using User Exits or BADI
· Perform Unit / Integration testing, Pre-Delivery Reviews.
· Perform System test, when new releases of software upgrades done.
· Act as the technical expert, providing quick turnaround in identifying application issues, timely solutions, and identifying RCA of the issues.
· Do performance tuning to improve the performance of forms, reports and code.
· Coordinate with SAP Basis Team for assigning user roles and debugging access issues.
· Preparing requests for Releasing development objects into QA and Production.
Desired Skills.
• Graduate from Computer Science, BE, BTech.
• 2-3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Software development.
• Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be knowledgeable in system profiling and debugging.
• Ability to shape ideas/opinions with stakeholders through better communication and networking.
• Ability to work on time-bounded projects.
• Knowledge of Business warehouses is an add-on.
• Basic understanding of FI-CO, SD & MM processes will be an advantage.
• Possession of related certification.
