Job Description
Seeking an experienced events specialist who has a passion for driving the end-to-end event lifecycle including strategy, execution, and post-event analysis of events.
You will be responsible for driving the events strategy, developing content, working with vendors to produce world-class online events, and deep-diving into post-event analysis to ensure all activities are delivering against predefined goals. This role will require you to collaborate with different stakeholders, internal and external, for seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Creating and executing an end-to-end event strategy.
• Designing the event format to meet the requirements of our target audience.
• Continually work to refresh the event value proposition to create greater value for the audience.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and drive the event content strategy.
• Working with third-party vendors (e.g. event and creative agencies and online platform providers) to create compelling event experiences.
• Understanding the location and venue specifications for in-person events, identifying, evaluating, and managing event venues, and contract negotiations.
• Post-event reporting and analysis of event activities and ROI.
• Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across teams.
• Working in close partnership with appointed agencies, and managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
• Capturing feedback on agencies/vendors and ensuring the necessary adjustments for seamless delivery of future events.
Basic Qualifications
• 6-8 years’ experience in an events specialist role for B2B technology/services company or agency, managing events end-to-end.
• Strong background in developing and managing large scale online events
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement (internal and external) with the ability to influence.
• Team player, but also able to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with effective presentation skills and advanced excel skills.
• Functional experience of using hosting platforms like Zoom, Cvent, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in hosting events in the US, Europe.
• Skill to use Salesforce, Marketo, and other digital marketing tools.
