Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate jewelry creations teacher for 5-12 year old girls for our Sunday morning program. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student engagement. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging jewelry creation lesson plans
Create a supportive and inclusive group atmosphere that encourages student participation
Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate effectively
Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and responsibility among students
Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to engage students with diverse learning styles and backgrounds
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching
You will be working with small groups of students throughout a 3-hour Sunday program, with the possibility to grow a portfolio of private clients during weekdays if desired
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
