Investment Management and Global Risk and Analysis:
Morgan Stanley Investment Management strives to provide outstanding long-term investment performance, service, and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base, which includes governments, institutions, corporations, and individuals worldwide.
Global Risk and Analysis (GRA) is a unit of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, responsible for measuring, controlling, and reporting investment, liquidity, and operational risks. It also analyzes investment returns and performs other analytical functions.
GRA Technology works as a GRA partner to provide support for day-to-day business activities, application enhancements, and new application development for new business initiatives. The team spreads across multiple locations in the US and India and maintains a presence around the clock.
Roles And Responsibilities
GRA Technology is looking for an Associate for our Mumbai, India, office to join the liquidity risk development and support team. The daily tasks include:
• Participate in the design of high performing and scalable enterprise solutions
• Develop applications using Microservices, Java, SQL, Python, and other technologies
• Develop, test, and maintain source code with Git and adhere to software best practices
• Develop unit test cases and work with professional QA personnel to perform thorough testing before releasing applications
• Work with the Production Management team by providing knowledge articles and creating clear support tickets to ensure smooth application support transitions
• Work as a member of the Risk Agile Squad. Create, maintain, and update Jira stories for development and support tasks
• Abide by the firms technology and data policies, procedures, and SDLC requirements
• Support day-to-day business
