Managing Systems & Vendors: You’ll oversee procurement and work with third-party vendors to ensure our IT systems are maintained and running at their best
Security & Compliance: Respond to customer security questionnaires and collaborate with our VP of Operations to help keep us on track for SOC2 certification and IT policy compliance
System Maintenance: You'll handle everything from system upgrades to routine checks, ensuring our network, servers, and IT systems run efficiently and without interruptions
Incident Management: When IT emergencies arise, you’ll be the one leading the charge to get things back up and running

What we’re looking for:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years in IT support or system administration, or a similar role
Hands-on experience with systems like Windows Server, macOS, Linux, etc
Familiar with network tools and cloud platforms (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, AWS, Microsoft 365)
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Experience with virtualisation tools like VMware or Hyper-V is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

What’s in it for you:

Competitive salary (we offer a salary that reflects your experience and the value you’ll bring to our team)
Annual wellbeing allowance and support
Generous annual learning and development fund
Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP) to help you benefit from the long-term success of the company.

4 weeks annual leave, plus an additional day off on your birthday!
Opportunities for professional growth and development
Flexible work options (our HQ is based in Wellington, NZ, but this role can be based anywhere in New Zealand)
