IT Support Engineer

4755 IT Support Engineer IT Operations 1 Chennai Providing technical support and maintenance for the organizations IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations with minimum downtime. Local asset maintenance (based on aging and working condition and others ensuring workable assets & infrastructure in coordination with IT in HO. The resource will have dual reporting (locally at Chennai and to IT at HO). Assist in system upgrades, patch management, and antivirus updates. Monitoring and publishing downtimes, system performance and ensure endpoint security compliance. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN connectivity issues. Support network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls. Coordinate with internet service providers and vendors for issue resolution. Log and track incidents/service requests using ticketing tools. Ensure timely resolution of incidents as per SLA requirements. Coordinate hardware replacements and repairs. Vendor coordination Internal communication with finance-IT/supporting local team for IT requirements/central coordination with IT teams Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Degree in technology field preferred. 1 - 2 Years
