Job Title: Data Center Operations EngineerDepartment: IT Infrastructure / Data CenterLocation: AhmedabadShift: 9:30 Hours Rotational (Day/Night Shifts)Experience: Minimum 1 -1.5 Year/sJob Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Center Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the data center environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems, networks, and servers. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to incidents and alerts.Key Responsibilities:Monitoring & Incident Management:Monitor infrastructure, network devices, and servers using monitoring tools (NMS/SIEM/SOC platforms).Identify, log, and escalate incidents as per defined procedures.Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely issue resolution.Network & Server Operations:Monitor switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.Ensure uptime and performance of Windows/Linux servers.Perform routine health checks and basic troubleshooting.Security Operations (SOC):Monitor security alerts and events.Report potential security threats or anomalies.Coordinate with security teams for incident response and mitigation.Data Center Maintenance:Ensure proper functioning of hardware, racks, power, and cooling systems.Maintain inventory of IT assets and documentation of network/server configurations.Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Shift Operations:Work in 9:30 hours rotational shifts (Day/Night).Ensure smooth handover between shifts with detailed reporting.Maintain adherence to SLAs and operational processes.Required Skills & Qualifications:Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field.14 years of experience in Data Center Operations / NOC / SOC environments.Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, etc.).Familiarity with server administration (Windows/Linux).Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar.Basic knowledge of security monitoring and incident management.Good communication skills and ability to work in shift-based environments.Join our team and contribute to a collaborative, innovative environment, where your ideas can truly make a difference.We look forward to receiving your application
