IT Desktop Engineer (Field Engineer)
Job Description
Role Overview:
As an IT Desktop Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for end-user support issues, providing hands-on and remote troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications. You’ll play a key role in maintaining seamless technical operations for our clients and internal users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
Troubleshoot Windows OS, Office 365, and general software issues
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
Manage Active Directory tasks (password resets, user management, etc.)
Handle remote support via phone, email, and remote desktop tools
Support hardware replacements, upgrades, and repairs
Collaborate with other engineers to resolve complex issues
Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and system changes
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IT Support or Desktop Engineer
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and basic networking
Familiar with Active Directory and basic server-side support (a plus)
Good understanding of PC hardware troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused mindset
Experience with MSP (Managed Service Provider) environments
IT certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP, or similar (preferred but not essential)
Age must be between 28 to 45 years.
