About the Role:
Tier-3 IP/MPLS & Security Support Engineer
Are you passionate about solving complex network and security challenges in large-scale service provider or enterprise environments. We’re looking for a Tier-3 IP/MPLS & Security Support Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in supporting high-availability, multi-vendor infrastructures.
Experience: 7+yrs
Location: Noida/Bangalore/Chennai
Work Mode: Hybrid
Shift: Rotational
Responsibilities:
• Act as the final escalation point for complex network and security incidents
• Troubleshoot IP/MPLS backbones, core routers, firewalls, and CGNAT platforms
• Lead major incident calls (P1/P2) and drive rapid service restoration
• Support and mentor Tier-1 and Tier-2 NOC teams
• Diagnose issues across MPLS, VPNs, routing protocols, and performance
• Handle escalations related to firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and security policies
• Collaborate with vendors such as Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Check Point
• Review and support network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Produce RCAs and technical documentation and share knowledge across teams
Required Skill:
• Strong hands-on experience with IP/MPLS networks
• Expertise in MPLS, L3VPN/L2VPN, VPLS/EVPN
• Solid knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS
• Experience with firewalls and CGNAT platforms
• Exposure to Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Check Point technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting, incident management, and communication skills
• Familiarity with monitoring and packet analysis tools
Qualification and Certifications (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or a related field
Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Nokia NRS, Fortinet NSE, or Check Point are a plus
