Your Role with Us:
As an Investment Accountant, you'll support all aspects of the family office's investment operations, working closely with industry experts who will guide and mentor you along the way. From managing accounting processes to ensuring accurate financial reporting across diverse portfolios, you'll develop your skills while contributing to a high-performing team that values your attention to detail and proactive approach.
Please Note: We believe in the value of in-person collaboration! This is a full-time, on-site role at our Melbourne CBD office, where you'll work closely with our dynamic team to drive innovation and growth.

As part of the family office, you won't be working directly on the brands themselves but will focus on managing and investing in opportunities beyond gaming, such as property investments. What you will do:
Coordinate fund subscription documents, including agreements, questionnaires, and side letters
Compile KYC requirements for new investments and entities
Record and reconcile fund transactions such as capital calls, distributions, and income allocations
Monitor and account for fund valuations, including NAVs and fair value adjustments
Prepare and review management accounts and month-end reporting
Record and reconcile real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and rental income
Manage tax compliance, statutory filings, and work closely with external advisors
Maintain efficient document management, recordkeeping, and timely reconciliations
Bonus points if you also have:
A Bachelor's degree, ideally in finance, business, accounting or a related field.
Working towards a CA or CPA
2-3 years of experience gained in Accounting, Advisory or a comparable role.
Strong financial analytics and reporting experience.
Advanced Excel and competent Word and PowerPoint skills.
