Job Description: The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following:
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and stock rotation.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee the receiving process, ensuring accurate documentation and proper storage.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with procurement and quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Design and optimize the layout of the warehouse for efficient inventory management.
• Train and guide warehouse staff on proper stock organization and handling techniques.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and spot checks to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances and identify root causes.
• Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and propose action plans.
Qualifications -
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
